Although he appeared in just six books by Beatrix Potter (the last published nearly a hundred years ago), this is one character that has endured the test of time. Indeed, he continues to be more popular today than ever! In 1904, Steiff produced an exquisite version of Peter Rabbit made in luxurious cotton velvet and stuffed with kapok and wood shavings. In 2010, Steiff are bringing this piece back to life with a breathtaking replica. With his sparkling glass eyes, embroidered felt jacket, and specially made slippers (stamped with a vintage Steiff logo on bottom), this is the ultimate Peter Rabbit.

The legend of the Christmas Rose dates back to 15th century Germany. According to the fable, a young girl named Madelon wanted to visit the Christ child in the manger, but had no gift to bring. From her tears sprang a plant with beautiful blooms - "The Christmas Rose." Steiff's tribute to this touching story is a Teddy bear made of rare ice green alpaca with snow-white felt for its paws and feet. The bear wears delicate Christmas roses made of felt and plush, along with branches of fir tree also carefully crafted from felt. Two tiny golden bells on a gilded cord hang from her neck.
